The Miss USA Amazing Pageant is a program under Thelma Clarke Organization for Youth Advancement (TCOYA), founded in 2013 by Angela Benitez. Over the years, TCOYA has produced several youth and young adult based programs, varying from educational to performing arts. To this day, TCOYA, has serviced over 200 youth and young adults in our pageant program. Our program serves purpose to develop areas such as public speaking, stage presence, confidence, industry readiness, and real life related experiences. Many of our clients have successfully achieved in their field of interest, academics, and several have succeeded in performing arts.

Unlike traditional pageants, we focus on personal brand development, exclusive opportunities, and making an impact in the community. ANGELA BENITEZ
Founder/CEO/Director
Angela is the founder and CEO of Thelma Clarke Organization for Youth Advancement. She is a recipient of the Pine-Sol "Women Making A Difference" Award and has been featured Essence Magazine. She holds a MSA & BA from Cal State - Berkley and Central Michigan University. Her love of pageantry comes from being a pageant mom and judge for many years and having a daughter successfully win titles. She prides herself in mentoring youth through purpose, education, and arts.
TERESA ALVAREZ
Creative Director
Teresa leads the creative division of the program. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan specializing in Film & Journalism. She has over 15 years working in the entertainment industry having starred in numerous commercials, national print ads, and one film. She is former trained dancer of 15 years, having danced for Broadway and MLB teams. Teresa is the proud owner of TJ Alvarez Media Photography specializing in pageants, acting, a model photography. Teresa is a former 9x pageant queen and loves all things pageants. She enjoys traveling the country working in brand marketing for a major automotive brand. She is a proud mom of one son whom she hopes gets to the MLB like his dad.
HELENA QUINLAN
Board Member/ Program Advisory
Helena serves as a board member of TCOYA. She specializes in program development. Helena is an attorney. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan and her Law degree from the University of Toledo. Before taking the legal career route, her concentration was in performing arts where she was dancer and theatre assistant. Helena has worked with the organization through its pageant and fashion programs for the last several years. She is happily married and is the mom to one son.
JANERO LLOYD
Board Member / Tech
Janero serves as a board member leading the tech department. He began as a youth of the program and now serves as a board member many years later. He is currently working on app development and graphic design for a new novel.
